Be More Monday – Anne McKever
Happy Monday Miracle Makers!
This is the last week of the 2020 Walmart & Sam’s Club campaigns, so it is only fitting that we introduce you to one our rock stars, Anne McKever. Anne is an assistant manager at Walmart in Lawrence, Kansas, and has supported CMN for over 10 years!
When she isn’t at work, Anne is busy with her son, Elijah, and her Bichon Frise puppy, Pricilla. They love to watch crime movies, binge Fixer Upper, cheer on the Minnesota Vikings, or find time to get outside.
Anne loves to hit the road in her Dodge Charger and find a quiet place to go camping. If she can’t get away, a cookout with friends and family will do just fine. Don’t sneak up on her though, she is a student of Taekwondo!
When speaking about her support of Children’s Miracle Network, she focuses on two things: inspiration and insurance. Luckily, Elijah is healthy, but she knows that every dollar she helps raise ensures that if any of her loved ones need the services of KU Pediatrics, they will receive the best care possible. What keeps her going when the campaign gets tough is the inspiration she gets from watching the Miracle Kids get healthy and grow up!
