Walmart and Sam's Club kick off fundraising for Connecticut Children's

Today, local Walmart and Sam’s Club have kicked off their annual Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals fundraising campaign benefiting Connecticut Children’s. In 2018, local stores raised $271,655 for Connecticut Children’s. The company also celebrated over $1 billion raised nationally since the start of the partnership with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Between now and July 7, customers and members can make a donation during checkout at the stores and clubs throughout Connecticut. All the money raised in Connecticut, with the exception of Fairfield County, directly benefits Connecticut Children’s. Customers and members have many options for donating: at the register, self checkout kiosks, Check Out with Me (Walmart only), Online Grocery Pick up (Walmart only) and Scan and Go (Sam’s Club only).

Associates also get creative with fundraising throughout the campaign by creating wishing wells, selling buttons or key chains, pieing managers in the face, organizing potlucks, etc.

Visit your local Walmart or Sam’s Club and join in on the fun of the campaign while supporting Connecticut Children’s!
