Our 2020 CMN Miracle Child, Weston Brown, thanks CMN Partner, Walmart and Sam’s Club, and all its customers like you who rounded up their change to help patients just like him at El Paso Children’s Hospital! About Weston

Weston was just three years old and had been struggling his entire life. He had abdominal pain and massive constipation issues. His parents knew something was wrong- they didn’t know what and had seen multiple specialists seeking many opinions. After two and a half years trying to get a diagnosis an MRI revealed a Type IV sacrococcygeal teratoma, a rare pediatric tumor. The radiologist, pediatric surgeon and oncologist all went to talk to his parents, and they realized that their son had a team of people fighting for him, who were going to help him get through this and get back to normal, with hi headstrong personality, cheering on his brother at the baseball fields. Weston is strong-willed and will fight anything that brings him down, a good quality when you’re battling a tumor. Today he’s in recovery and sees multiple specialists, including an ophthalmologist endocrinologist and neurologist.
