Rockin' the Miracles for 30 Years

$35.5 million!!!! Yup, that’s right! Our friends from Walmart and Sam’s Club locations across the United States raised $35.5 million over the last several weeks to help doctors and nurses help local kids in the communities where the funds were raised. And, just about $100,000 of this will stay right here in eastern Maine to help kiddos receiving care at Eastern Maine Medical Center, Acadia Hospital, and our other local EMHS Foundation Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Today, we had the opportunity to spend some of our morning saying thank you to the rock stars at the Bangor Sam’s Club. This incredible team raised just shy of $50,000 this year – WOW! WOW! WOW! And, they couldn’t have done this without the support from their members and the community. In fact, our friends from Darling’s, Trewory Family Orchards, Pat’s Pizza – Hampden, Bagel Central, Houston Brook Auctioneers, Fairmount Market, The Maine Store, Angelo’s Pizzeria Old Town, Chase’s Family Restaurant, and the Stucco Lodge all purchased posters in support of Sam’s Club’s miracle making campaign.
