12 Days of Hoorays for the Burlington-Plattsburgh Market!

As we close out 2023, we’ll be featuring various community and corporate partners who have supported the UVM Children’s Hospital throughout the year. We could not provide the highest quality, child-friendly care without the support of generous donors and volunteers. To everyone who has supported the UVM Children’s Hospital this year, we thank you so much and we wish you a wonderful, happy holiday season.

To kick off our 12 Days of Hoorays, we want to highlight our Walmart & Sam’s Club partnership. Thank you to our incredible 13 stores that participated in the 2023 Walmart & Sam’s Club Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals campaign. This year, the campaign raised $91,141.98 and we want to shoutout the top fundraising store in each state that supports the University of Vermont Children’s Hospital:

• Vermont: Rutland, Store #2530 raised $8,202.99
• New York: Ticonderoga, Store #2424 raised $17,704.03
• New Hampshire: Claremont, Store #1975 raised $5,148.62

Also, the Walmart team in Ticonderoga, NY went above and beyond in their support for the UVM Children’s Hospital by fundraising as part of the 98.9 WOKO Big Change Roundup for Kids. Their store champions, Amie Vradenburg and Tabitha Wood, organized the Big Band Roundup in honor of Billie Jo Vradenburg, a former patient and dedicated annual fundraiser for the Big Change Roundup for Kids.

We are so grateful for our partnership with Walmart & Sam’s Club, and we are so excited to see future impact the 2024 CMNH campaign will have next year!
