Congratulations, Walmart Supercenter 2994!

Today was a special day in St. Joseph, MO as Walmart Supercenter #2994 celebrated their Grand Re-Opening!

After 14 weeks of hard work, the Walmart Supercenter on the south side of St. Joe has a brand new look.  The aisles are wider, the floor is gleaming and there is even a wider selection of products to choose from.  The community came together today to celebrate the new look and the associates cheered as the weeks of hard work paid off.  The event was opened with a color guard and the singing of the National Anthem, remarks from Store Manager, Randy Dosch, and a noteable thank you from the town mayor, Bill McMurray.

Children’s Miracle Network at KU Medical Center was proud to be a part of this special day, as the management and associates presented us with a $4,396 check, representing their fundraising efforts to date for this year. Walmart has been a partner of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals for 33 years and each store participates in fundraising campaigns and events to support their local CMN Hospital.  It was certainly an honor to be part of their event today!
