History Made: $1 Billion to Help Kids Live Better

They did it. CMN Hospitals is pleased to announce Walmart and Sam’s Club associates, customers and members have now raised more than $1 billion for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

This amount represents the largest cash amount ever raised by a company for a nonprofit. Period. To say we at CMN Hospitals are grateful would be the understatement of the century. This $1 billion has helped hundreds of millions of kids live better over the last 31 years. Our member hospitals have used these funds where they’re needed most, including charitable care, life-saving equipment, research, education and special services only children’s hospitals can provide.

The associates at Walmart and Sam’s Club in the U.S. and Canada didn’t let anything stop them from raising as much money as possible for the kids. They worked hard despite hurricanes, wildfires, economic downturns and more. Their resilient spirit is akin to that of the 10 million Miracle Kids who, every year, bravely endure their challenges with a cheerful, can-do attitude.
