Walmart and Sam's Club Are Helping Black Hills Kids Live Better

Walmart and Sam’s Club associates, customers, and members have raised $991,773 for Regional Health’s Children’s Miracle Network program since 1991.

In 2018, Walmart and Sam’s Club passed the $1 billion fundraising mark for CMN Hospitals in the U.S. and Canada. Which is the largest amount raised for a nonprofit. Locally, Walmart and Sam’s Club raised $68,015 for Regional Health – Children’s Miracle Network during the 2018 campaign.

This year’s register campaign is happening now through July 7. Customers and members can conveniently donate $1 or more while checking out at any Black Hills Walmart or Sam’s Club stores.

Money raised at Black Hills area Walmart and Sam’s Club stores goes directly to benefit the sick and injured kids treated at Regional Health hospitals. Funds pay for equipment, supplies, patient comfort items, charitable care, and a variety of other needs for the hospital.

Walmart and Sam’s Club joined the CMN Hospitals fundraising family in 1987 with Sam Walton himself being personally involved in the beginning of the relationship between the organizations. The fundraising campaigns supports Walmart’s goal of giving back to local communities.
