Walmart Market 287 making an impact

Local Walmart stores held a summer fundraising campaign and raised $145,698 for Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU in only five short weeks. Our executive director of corporate partnerships, Rachel Bruni visited the Ashland Walmart store in September with our CMN Hospitals Champion Nora and her family. They acknowledged Walmart’s incredible impact on our hospital and thanked the Ashland community and its employees for raising $11,211. 

5,352 Walmart stores nationwide have raised more than $44.2 million for 140 CMN Hospitals so far in 2023. If you are looking for ways to assist this holiday season, please consider donating items from our child life Walmart wish lists.
