The Power of CHANGE

Pennies, nickels, dimes! Many of us don’t realize the impact change can have on kids’ health, but the reality is change – pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters – is THE change hospitals, like Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center, need to make sure they have the life-saving therapies, specialized medical equipment, and advanced training to care for local kids.

On June 22, Walmart and Sam’s Club kicked off their fundraising efforts to change kids’ health and change the future. Through July 31st, and with the support of their customers, our local Walmart locations in Skowhegan, Palmyra, Lamoine, Calais, Bangor, Brewer, Lincoln, Houlton, and Presque Isle, along with the Sam’s Club in Bangor, raised more than $75,000 to support our Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals’ program. Don’t ever doubt that pennies can’t add up, because to us, they’re MIRACLES! Cheers to you, Walmart and Sam’s Club! Thank you for making a CHANGE for the better in Maine!
