Walmart and Sam's Club Raise Over $788,000 for Lurie Children's

This year marked the 31st year that Walmart and Sam’s Club associates have been making miracles happen for the kids at Lurie Children’s. Locations have gone above and beyond the past couple months of their campaign for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, taking donations taken at the register and creative fundraising like auctions, potluck and family events implemented by the associates. Walmart and Sam’s Club associates, members and customers raised over $788,000 for Lurie Children’s Hospital this year, bringing their cumulative fundraising total to over $23.5 million over the past 30 years.

Many locations across the Chicagoland and northwest Indiana areas were committed to the cause of raising funds for their local CMN Hospital. Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. Below are some of the associates in action!

This year was especially momentous for Walmart and Sam’s locations, as they celebrated $1 billion dollars raised nationwide for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Local Lurie Children’s patient, Charlie, stopped by a few locations to thank associates for their tireless efforts in raising funds to support the hospital he receives care from.

Thank you, Walmart and Sam’s Club for all you do for kids like Charlie!
