Walmart Hawai’i Reaches New Heights in Fundraising!

We’d like to send a MAHALO to Walmart and Sam’s Club for making 2022 one for the record books. The SPARK was BRIGHT for Hawai‘i customers and associates who have raised more than $407,432.72 for Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children! A special shout-out to two Hawai‘i Walmart locations for ranking among the top fundraisers in the nation: 🎈 No. 1 Hilo Walmart raised $127,034.82, also breaking the record for highest store fundraising for the CMN campaign in history!🎈 No. 3 Pearl City Walmart raised $66,586.31.

Donations made through the Walmart campaign will support a specialized laser surgical machine at Kapi‘olani Medical Center. With more than 600 pediatric ENT surgeries at Kapi‘olani Medical Center annually, having specialized equipment means children in Hawai‘i can be properly treated for conditions.
